I’m in the market for a small and light laptop to run Linux on. This takes my search towards either an Asus vivobook, Acer 11.6″ notebook or even a Samsung Chromebook.

Ideally, I don’t want to spend over $400 and it doesn’t need to have a touch screen.

For now, I’ll continue to read Linux foums regarding which models are most adequate for the OS. I haven’t even thought about which distro. Lubuntu, Xubuntu, Mint, Arch-Bang.
